Guide me home, sweet Sheppard,
So I won’t lose my way.
If I fall, pick me up, sweet Sheppard,
I need some guiding hands.
Don’t leave the lights on, sweet Sheppard,
Light a candle before we head to bed.
I know there are a million things on your mind, sweet Sheppard,
But rest easy tonight.
I will be waiting for just a little while longer, dear Sheppard.
Until we find our missing islands,
and part our separate ways.
Hush, sweet Sheppard,
Don’t wait up any longer.
Even if your mornings are filled with dread.
Someone will catch you too, sweet Sheppard.
Just you wait and see.
there are days when the sun shines far,
reaching everyone off in the distance,
and spreading happiness to whom it touches.
there once was a gentle girl in the fields,
picking daisies for her granny,
in her rouge coloured outfit.
she stood standing, singing a tune.
she finally found the meaning
of the song she’s been singing.and for a moment she’s quiet,
a little empty for the while.
but the sun did shine, and her heart was full.
she didn’t see past the mirrored eyes,
they were her own seen in reverse.
the more she looked away, the longer she stared.
she could never be beyond the silver lining,
there she longed to be.
things take time, she thought out loud.
maybe one day, I too will fly away,
grow wings, and be as the sun’s rays,
touch somebody and make them smile.
